The Home Builders Association
of Jackson County is a nonprofit trade organization which exists for
the benefit of its members. Builders and developers are the "core"
members of the Association. When they are doing well, our associate
members will do well. This association is committed to meeting the
needs and interests of all members.
We hire lobbyists in Washington D.C.
and Salem to promote legislation favorable to the building industry and
support a PAC which works to ensure the election of political
candidates supportive of the building industry.
The Home Builders Association of
Jackson County is part of the National Association of Home Builders, a
powerful group which exists to support the housing industry. Our main
services are government lobbying, information and publications, and
networking opportunities.
We promote our members to the
general public through our directory, newsletter, two home shows, and
our office staff. Our monthly dinner meetings are held at the
Jacksonville Inn. At these dinners we have guest speakers and invite
members to promote their products or services. We sponsor two Southern
Oregon Home Shows which contribute to this area's economic well-being.
MISSION STATEMENT
To serve as a positive voice ensuring and
improving the opportunities for home ownership, now and for generations
to come, and to extend a helping hand through community outreach.
